Veneto is the third largest wine-growing region in Italy. It is therefore hardly surprising that there are also many mass-produced wines of average quality here, which unfortunately often ruin the reputation of an entire region. Just think of Pinogritscho... Fortunately for us wine enthusiasts, however, there are many great winegrowers who have always focussed on quality, tradition and innovation. Discover the diversity of Veneto, from light Bardolino, the classic Lugana or Custoza to creamy Soave, fruity Valpolicella and luscious Amarone. And last but not least: of course ,Prosecco is not to be missed!

• Bardolino is the name of a pretty little municipality on the eastern shore of Lake Garda and is also a DOC. It is known for a light red wine made from the typical local grape varieties Corvina, Molinara, Rondinella and others, as well as a light-coloured rosé, in this case Chiaretto called
• Bianco di Custoza is a fresh white wine that comes from the almost identical DOC area of Bardolino in the west of the Veneto. The area stretches from the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda to the Adige river and is somewhat similar to Lugana, which is grown further west.
