Loris Bonotto has been growing wine with his wife in Veneto since 1976, on a piece of land that once belonged to two countesses - hence Le Contesse. His passion soon belonged to the sparkling variety, long before Prosecco became the epitome of a bubbly aperitif. But perhaps he has a share in this. The family now cultivates 200 hectares, a third of which is already certified organic.
