Grape variety: 85% Vernatsch, 15% Lagrein & Syrah, dry, hand-picked, 60 - 70 year old vines
Maturation: classic mash fermentation for 3 weeks, matured 100% in used barriques for approx. 15 months, full BSA
Elegant, fresh, "Burgundian", notes of red berries, cherry, smoke, pepper, very structured on the palate, noticeable tannins, long finish
Goes very well with game birds such as pheasant and duck
Only 2500 bottles produced
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Acidity: 4.9 g/l
Contents: 750ml
