Origin: Italy, Lombardy, Franciacorta, Santella del Gröm vineyard in the municipality of Adro at 210 metres above sea level

Grape variety: 30 % Cabernet Franc, 12 % Carmenère, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 28 % Merlot, 10 % Barbera, dry

Ageing: Cold maceration, temperature-controlled fermentation in large, open stainless steel tanks, ageing for at least 18 months in oak + 12 months in the bottle

Harmonious, delicate, cool Bordeaux blend: Spicy, intense ripe red fruits of redcurrant and sour cherry, good woody notes, balsamic, very delicate on the palate with velvety tannins, long-lasting, low in alcohol

Goes well with wild boar ragout in port wine sauce

Origin: Italy, Sicily, Mazara del Vallo, 200 - 250 m above sea level

Grape variety: 100% Zibibbo (Muscat d'Alexandrie), dry

Soil: Limestone

Ageing: 4 - 5 months sur lie, 2 - 3 months bottle ageing

Distinct notes of peach and citrus fruit (think lemon sorbet!), with hints of nutmeg and a touch of rose petals, fresh and soft with a good balance between acidity and minerality.

Great with smoked and fried fish and all savoury dishes

Origin: Italy, Calabria, Cirò Marina, 800m from the sea

Producer: Ippolito

Grape variety: 100% Pecorello (autochthonous) - only 9 hectares of vines planted worldwide (!)

Soil: Sand-mud

Elegant with intense, aromatic notes of citrus peel, white peach and yellow fruit, mineral structure with a slight saltiness, beautifully balanced, long finish

Goes well with grilled sea bass or sea bream

*Fun fact: Pecorello translates as "the little sheep"

Vinification: New wood (Fuderfass), slow fermentation, 3 months on fine lees

Soil: Grey slate

It exudes aromas of juicy tangerine fillets, fresh orange peel, ripe white peaches and plucked violet blossoms, some pear and quince. Light and full-bodied at the same time, round and creamy in flavour, very long finish
