The "Forster Ungeheuer" site was first mentioned in 1460 and covers 29 hectares. The special feature of this site is the centre of the slope, which is protected from westerly winds and therefore allows the grapes to ripen earlier. This makes the wines more fruity with excellent minerality and enormous fullness.
