The large Kirchenstück site is an absolute speciality: the vineyard, which covers just 3.67 hectares, is the highest rated vineyard site in the Palatinate. Only eight winegrowers own this small site. It borders directly on the residential area of Forst and is surrounded by sandstone walls, which store the sun's heat during the day and release it back to the vines at night. Only Riesling may be planted in the Kirchenstück, the great wines are very juicy, mineral and long-lasting.
