Soil: Sand, loam

Grape variety: 100% Gaglioppo, hand-picked
Ageing: min. 18 months in tonneaux + further ageing in stainless steel
Only the best grapes are dried until the end of November and blended with fresh still wine. This produces intense, complex flavours of wild berries, violets, sultanas and sweet spices, the wine is balanced with a round body, silky tannins and a long finish.
Like an Amarone, only from Calabria.
