The Zibibbo grape belongs to the large family of Muscat grapes and is officially called Muscat d'Alexandrie, among many other synonyms. It is grown throughout the Mediterranean region, often as a table grape, but also thrives in greenhouses in more northern climes. In Sicily, it is also used to make the sweet wine Moscato di Pantelleria, and in Chile the brandy Pisco.
