The Spumante Farfalla - butterfly - takes its name from a butterfly-shaped vineyard. Due to its orientation, slope and limestone soil, this vineyard is ideal for Pinot Noir grapes - the basis for all of Ballabio's sparkling wines. These exceptional sparkling wines are only created after years of bottle ageing on the lees. So good that the Cave Privée was named Italy's best sparkling wine in 2021.
