Soil: Calcareous moraines
Ageing: Four months on the fine lees, matured for 24 months in French barriques and oak barrels + 24 months ageing in steel tanks and in the bottle
Complex, intense flavours with lots of concentrated fruit and spice: both red and black notes of plums, cherries, blackcurrants and blackberries, cinnamon, cocoa, cloves and pepper, well-integrated wood notes, lots of power, dense yet very elegant, lingers on the palate and in the finish
Goes well with red meat and as a fireside wine - lots of power!
Alcohol content: 16% vol.
