Origin: Italy, Veneto, various vineyards in the Mezzane Valley

Winemaker: San Cassiano

Grape variety: 70% Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella

Soil: Limestone, white marble

Vinification: Ripasso means "repetition" in German. The mash of the Amarone grapes is added to the mash of the original wine. The Amarone grapes are particularly intense and aromatic due to the previous 100-day drying process, which is why the added mash gives the wine a much higher density. The new blend is then fermented and matured in barriques for 24 months

Distinct notes of red fruit, very complex due to second fermentation, yet fresh and full-bodied, velvety on the palate with a hint of roasted flavours

Goes wonderfully with braised meat
