Winemaker: Eckehart Gröhl
Grape variety: 100% Silvaner, dry
Soil: Loess/weathered clay slate
Vinification: The grapes from the 81-year-old vines were hand-picked in autumn 2021 and macerated for three days. The wine was fermented spontaneously in barrels, enjoyed a long lees ageing period until March 2023 and was then bottled unfiltered.

Since 2020, Johannes has been launching a new limited-edition wine every year with his "bee label". Every year, he takes on a new, exciting project. His new natural wine has been available since April 2023.
