Origin: Italy, South Tyrol, Kaltern Location Barleit, 350m above sea level

Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc, hand-picked, 10-year-old vines

Vinification: gentle pressing, fermentation and ageing in used, small 320-litre oak barrels. Cigare oak barrel for 15 months on the fine lees

Due to a hailstorm, the harvest was naturally reduced to 60 % of a normal harvest, which meant that the sugar content was particularly high in this warm year, with an alcohol content of 15 % vol.

Complex, multi-layered Sauvignon Blanc with intense notes of ripe stone fruit, mango and citrus peel. Fresh and creamy on the palate, with a beautiful mineral structure and a long finish
