Soil: loam, limestone and opok
Ageing: in used 500 litre barrels
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this wine ripen in a breathtakingly beautiful basin location on the steep slopes of the Kranachberg. On vines that are already a quarter of a century old. The limestone soil therefore ensures a particularly clear and precise flavour with elegant acidity, even when the grapes are very ripe. A wine that is made to last.
