Origin: Italy, South Tyrol, Montan: "Glen" vineyard, 600 metres above sea level
Winemaker: Pfitscher winery
Grape varieties: 100% Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder), dry, Blanc de Noir
Vinification: Gentle whole-cluster pressing and uncompromising must fractionation. Controlled fermentation and storage of the base wine in barriques. Tirage in June after the harvest, followed by bottle fermentation and ageing on the lees for 42 months. Disgorgement and further ageing of six months.
