Nascetta "Vigna Lirano" Langhe DOC
Origin: Italy, Piedmont, Sinio, 400 metres above sea level
Winemaker: Rivetto
Grape varieties: 100% Nascetta
Soil: Sandy-calcareous with sub-alkaline reaction, low in nitrogen
Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, maceration for several months in clay amphorae, maturation in concrete tanks
Not an aperitif wine, these drops challenge the palate: at a young age, the aroma is similar to that of Moscato, with a little maturity it becomes significantly more reductive, more intense flint, a hint of matchstick, but then a fine note of rhubarb, fresh herbs, honey and shortbread.
