Origin: Italy, Kaltern, 3 vineyards: Feld, Barleiten, Palurisch, 250 metres above sea level
Producer: Thomas Pichler
Grape variety: 100% Vernatsch, dry, hand-picked, 60 - 70 year old vines
Maturation: classic mash fermentation for 3 weeks, 50/50 maturation in stainless steel and large wooden barrels for approx. 10 months, complete BSA
Very classic, elegant, fruity, lively, fresh: notes of wild strawberry, cherry, almond, marzipan, subtle rose blossom, balanced acidity, light body, with little tannin
Wonderful with prawns, chicken, tofu with basil
Only 3500 bottles produced
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Acidity: 4.5 g/l
