Gold Muscat "Baronesse Passito"
Origin: Italy, South Tyrol, Unterland, Margreid, 250 - 350 m above sea level
Winemaker: Nals Margreid
Grape variety: 100% Goldmuskateller, sweet, hand-picked
Soil: Limestone gravel, lots of humus
Vinification: 5 mo. drying of the grapes, fermentation in small oak barrels, 12 mo. fine lees storage + 12 mo. bottle ageing
The sweet grapes are gently pressed, very intense flood of flavours, luxurious aromas of candied fruit, noble sweet mouth aroma of apricots, orange, pineapple, honey and quince, sweetness-acidity structure perfectly balanced
Goes well with: Fine dessert creations or spicy blue cheese
Alcohol content: 12% vol.
