Burgum Novum is derived from the Latin name of the village of Neumarkt, where the winery was founded in 1969. The line stands for authenticity and rootedness. Since the winery was founded, the top wines have been known by this name and are the result of painstaking and precise manual labour in the vineyard and traditional vinification in the cellar.
