Even if you taste a lot of wines as a wine merchant, there are some that stay with you for a lifetime. The Deep Blue from Tesch is one such wine: a Blanc de Noirs made from Pinot Noir grapes. Since that moment many, many years ago in Hamburg, Martin Tesch's wines have been a firm favourite with us. His Rieslings are prime examples of how this grape variety reacts to micro-climate and terroir: each vineyard tastes completely different and has its very own "brand" thanks to the great, colourful labels (which have won the Red Dot Design Award).
