The history of the Nals Margreid winery spans several centuries and shows a rich tradition in viticulture. The roots of viticulture in Nals date back to Roman times, when the region played an important role as a trade route on the Via Appia. In 1063, Nalles gained particular importance as a wine-growing centre when Bishop Ebriko acquired an estate with vineyards. In 1764, the Campi winery was built, whose legacy remains alive in the 1764 wine shop.
The Nals winery was founded in 1932 with 34 members, and the Margreid-Entiklar winery was founded in 1954. in 1985, the Nals and Margreid-Entiklar wineries merged under the name Kellerei Nals Margreid and continued their wine history. In the decades that followed, important milestones were achieved, such as participation in international trade fairs, the renovation of the winery building in 2011 and the award for the Pinot Bianco - Pinot Blanc SIRMIAN as "Best White Wine in Italy" in 2012.
in 2019, the winery's historic "Von Campi" residence was renovated and converted into the headquarters with presentation rooms and administrative offices. Today, the winery consists of 138 members, cultivates 160 hectares of vineyards in 14 different areas and strives to continue the success story of Nals Margreid.
Our co-operation with Nals-Margreid-Entiklar began back in 1975, when we were one of the first German wine merchants to offer the fine wines for sale to our customers in Munich. Today, almost 50 years later, we stock the complete range of 35 different wines from the Nals Margreid winery.

The Nals Margreid winery draws on a diverse potential of terroirs that extend over various areas of between two and twelve hectares. These areas stretch from Nals in the Adige Valley to Margreid in the south of South Tyrol, mainly along the orthographically right bank of the Adige. The complexity of these terroirs forms the basis for the unique character of their wines. The winery carefully observes and researches the differences in the terroirs down to the smallest detail in order to better understand the relationships between climate, soil and soil life and to further develop its sensitivity to terroir.
The various vineyards are described in detail:

- Mantele vineyard: On the right bank of the Adige, between 330 and 450 metres above sea level, characterised by a continental to sub-Mediterranean climate with temperature fluctuations.
