Gin

A gin can get its flavour from up to 120 different plants ("botanicals"). Juniper must always be included, as with its predecessor, genever. The basis is usually a grain distillate, but citrus peel, coriander, ginger, pepper and many other herbs and spices can also be added during the distillation process.
