Apéritif
An aperitif is an appetising - often slightly alcoholic - drink that is served before a meal, often accompanied by small snacks. There is a real aperitif culture in Mediterranean countries in particular. Just think of the many different types of spritz! We prefer to prepare this with pampelle, a liqueur made from pink grapefruit. Or enjoy a Mondino, the Amaro Bavarese - on ice, with tonic or as a delicious Negroni.
