Albarossa is a new variety between Chatus (Nebbiolo di Dronero) and Barbera from 1938, which is currently cultivated on around 60 hectares in the DOC area of Piemonte. The grape produces a colourful, tannin-rich red wine with balanced acidity and versatile aromas.
