Non-alcoholic sparkling pear wine made from the Champagne baked pear fruit variety
Origin: Germany, Württemberg (100 year old trees!)
Producer: Jörg Geiger manufactory
Maturation: Traditional bottle fermentation, at least 3 years on the lees, alcohol is completely removed by gentle vacuum distillation.
Fine aroma of champagne roast pear, with fine dried pear notes, white flowers, brioche notes, restrained sweetness and well-integrated acidity, subtle tannin notes in the aftertaste
Solo as an aperitif or with light fish dishes
Fun fact: For over 200 years, the Champagne pear variety has been considered a first-class wine pear. It has borne its name since 1797, as an outstanding sparkling wine had already been produced from this rarity before then.
