This handmade wooden box is made exclusively from materials that come entirely from responsibly managed forests. The inner carton is made from 100% recycled materials and is printed with water-based inks.

Origin: Italy, Tuscany, Montepulciano

Winemaker: Salcheto

Grape variety: 85% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, 5% Mammolo, 5% Merlot

Ageing: 4 months, 30% of which in 300 litre tonneau

Great, fresh, uncomplicated Chianti, clear flavours of red fruits, cherries, plums, spices and earthy notes

Ideal with vegetable casserole or pizza

Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG - Vintage 2017

Origin: Italy, Tuscany, Montepulciano

Winemaker: Salcheto

Grape variety: 100% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese clone)

Ageing: 18 months maturation, 30% in tonneau + 6 months bottle ageing

Powerful bouquet, complex, spicy, both black and red fruit, cloves, cinnamon, rosemary, good structure, pleasant, elegant

Goes well with mild game dishes, e.g. rabbit
