Origin: Germany, Upper Palatinate

Producer: Schraml - The Steinwald Distillery / Stonewood

Made from 100% barley malt from northern Bavaria

Casks: 5 years in 200 litres of American white oak (heavy toasting - over 90% new cask content, therefore faster maturation) + 3 years in four 200 litre Jamaica/Barbados rums = 8 years old (2016 vintage, bottling in April 2024)

Appearance: clear, deep red-gold, amber-coloured

Aroma: rum, sultana, vanilla, yellow fruit, spice

Flavour: creamy, spicy, fruity, malt, soft

Finish: mild, balanced, full-bodied, long
