Where the family lends a hand: The Riedingerhof is located in the Obermais district of the beautiful town of Meran. In addition to the inn, fruit growing has been practised here for years, but viticulture has only recently been added. Young winemaker Hansi Verdorfer cultivates seven different grape varieties on just two hectares. All plants are cultivated organically and by hand out of deepest conviction. The grapes are given plenty of time, they ferment spontaneously, lie on the skins for a long time and are matured in clay amphorae, acacia and oak barrels.
