Back in 1987, a trip to France took me through almost all the wine regions and to many Michelin-starred restaurants. Since then, fine wines and food have become my elixir of life, my hobby and often also my profession. Whether as a buyer at Feinkost Käfer or assistant to the management in a wine import company, whether as a cookery book reviewer or a passionate amateur chef - nothing inspires me more than good cuisine and the fine wines that go with it.
