The Holzapfel winery is located in a beautiful baroque building on the former reading yard of the canons' monastery. Here in the Wachau, along the Danube, the family cultivates a vineyard area of around 14 hectares with different soil profiles, in prime locations and with a unique microclimate. Complemented by traditional cultivation and limited yields, the Holzapfels produce wines that impress with their freshness, elegance and tangy acidity.
