Down here in Calabria, the tip of Italy's boot, wine has been cultivated since ancient times. Back then, the region was called Enotria: Wine country. So it's no wonder that there is a close relationship between tradition, vines, soil and experience. Our winegrower has been making wines from ancient autochthonous grape varieties such as Greco Bianco and Nero, Gaglioppo, Calabrese and Pecorello for 170 years:

Puglia, the heel of Italy's boot, is not only one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the world, but also accounts for the largest share of Italian viticulture with around 20%. The autochthonous grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Nero di Troia are particularly noteworthy.
