Aloys H. Lun laid the foundation stone for the winery back in 1840, when vineyards were planted in the best locations and planted with the grape varieties best suited to the terroir. Today there are the two lines 1840 and Sandbichler. The even greater selection in the vineyard ensures the fullness, flavour intensity and longevity of these wines.
