The Marche region is located on the Adriatic coast of central Italy. Verdicchio, which was already cultivated by the Etruscans, thrives here. Some of the best comes from the Castelli di Jesi appellation.

Emilia Romagna is the epitome of Italian cuisine as we know it here in Germany: Home of Parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar and Parma ham, mortadella, bolgognese and much more. Another speciality has been somewhat forgotten, but has just been rediscovered by connoisseurs: Lambrusco. Deep red, slightly effervescent and sweet or tart, it impresses with its lightness and drinkability.

Umbria is one of the few regions in Italy that does not have a coastline. Here in the heart of Italy, a little away from the tourist hustle and bustle, good wines are also grown beyond the famous names.
