Castelfeder - South Tyrol

We are family

There is no better and more fitting way to summarise the Castelfeder winery.

For 50 years, the family - now in its third generation - has been working together with discipline and energy to cultivate the 70 hectares of vineyards, 70% of which are planted with white grape varieties.

So it's no wonder that the cru site "Kreuzweg" is a Chardonnay Riserva and, as a "Family Reserve", represents the top of the winery's quality pyramid, which is only bottled in the best years.

Burgum Novum

The estate's top wines have been labelled under this name since 1989. From the elaborate care in the vineyard to the selection and vinification to the 30-month storage period, the highest standards are applied down to the last detail.

Single Vinyards Pinot Nero Selection

We love the Pinot project from Castelfeder! Three vineyards in three different locations - one grape variety, same vinification. There is no more impressive way to show how sensitively this demanding grape variety reacts to the respective terroir.

Buchholz in the far south in Salurn, Glen is a higher site in Montan-Glen and Mazon, the cru site on the high plateau above Neumarkt.

Villa Karneid and Mont Mes

The range is complemented by single-varietal wines from the Karneid vineyard near Salurn and the young Mont Mes line, where both single-varietal and fruity cuvées from the young generation of winegrowers provide new impetus.
